Resin Glue
What kind of glue should be used for RESIN Warhammer 40k models?
Looking to start with a Krieg army, but I’m not exactly sure what glue to use. Also, I would like to know the tools necessary. Thanks in advance.
Superglue is fine for resin.
For preparing Forgeworld miniatures, you should have a good craft knife and a razor saw as the minimum.
Resin dust is carcinogenic, so you will also need to wear a dust-mask and work in a well-ventilated area when prepping. All resin miniatures need to be washed in warm, soapy water prior to painting. The high level of detail on FW miniature in particular makes them prone to excess material, “flash” and mould lines and you should carefully inspect each model as you clean it.
I personally do any sawing at the same time as cleaning in the water. This not only softens the resin to make sawing easier, it also keeps the dust wet, preventing it from flying around, making a mess or getting into lungs it shouldn’t.
